Expressive Wedding Films is a wedding videography/photography company based in Vancouver, WA. Our mission is to capture the emotions and moments of your big day, ensuring they last a lifetime. We don't believe in taking a "fly on the wall" approach. Instead, we immerse ourselves in the action, documenting the authentic essence of your special day.

Our passion is storytelling and, most importantly, we love our couples to relive their memories over and over again. By building relationships with our clients, we get to know them and help reduce the stress of wedding planning. In fact, we take a fast approach to contact key vendors to create a smooth game plan, ensuring your day is a walk in the park!

Who we are

What started it

for me?

Hey there! My name is Marc and I love telling stories! Growing up in Southern California, I have always had an artistic side, which is why weddings to me are all about the love story. Sure, every wedding celebration seems to be the same type of event but what sets each one apart is the unique story that unfolds on the day of the wedding. That is why I take great pride in getting to know the couples I work with. I say "my couples" because I always get invested in their story, like finding out how they met and who fell in love first. I am that type of person who will film your wedding, but I can also be found on the dancefloor during the reception, having a great time with the bridal party. I don’t like to be just a fly on the wall when filming, but I take a very smooth approach to capturing the most important moments of your day. Some say you can almost count me as part of the bridal party :)

The photo to the right was a very special moment at my wedding. My mom was able to make it up for my wedding even being on dialysis treatment in California. She flew in and the day after my wedding she flew right back out. This is the moment she whispered in my ear, “Told you I’d make it.” I started balling like a baby and this is the moment that got captured in photo. It's a good thing I have it on video because I get to relive that moment every single time I press play. She passed away 2 years later. That’s why I love capturing weddings through video :)
